I feel deeply elated that our esteemed Smt. Laxmibai Radhakisan Toshniwal College of Commerce, Akola a premier education, single faculty institution imparting qualitative education in the faculty of Commerce and Management education from B.Com course to Ph.D course. After successful completion of third cycle of assessment and Accreditation from NAAC, we were able to sustain ‘A’ grade. In the year 2017-18 UGC has awarded CPE status with financial assistance for qualitative improvement of Rupees Eighty Lakhs. Our affiliating University i.e Sant Gadge Baba, Amravati University has conferred us lead college status and directed the college to help the other colleges for the assistance in assessment and accreditation of their college . Thus the sapling planted in the year 1964 has blossomed into a fruit bearing tree giving shade and fruits to the society.

      I also derive immense pride to state that the staff of our college is highly qualified, motivated, erudite with a quest for excellence. The college has sufficient physical infrastructure with well equipped laboratories , rich library, well equipped Language Lab, with wi-fi enabled campus Cooperative management.

     I sincerely feel that the student of my college have acquired coveted position in the filed of Education, Law, Politics, art and Culture, and bureaucracy such as Chief Secretary, Minister , MLA Judges, eminent Lawyers, poets.

     My chest swells with pride to state that more than Two Hundred and Fifty Two Chartered Accounts have been churned out from our college. In my arduous journey, I could sustain the quality of my Institute through Co-operation from the stake holders, and various quarters of the society .

My rich administrative experience as a Principal in this premier college, gave me the golden opportunity to become NAAC Assessor and visit all the remote areas of my country and get a rich insight into the educational system. The government of Maharashtra nominated me on Academic Council of the University and Vice-Challancellor of S.G.B. Amravati University nominated me on RRC in Commerce. I remember the great American Poet Robert Frost in my quest for excellence
